outdoor hutch and mould

i have a large outdoor hutch covered in a tarpaulin sheet. the hutch is sturdy and has no leaks but i was horrified to discover some slight mould on the inside of the hutch wall when i was cleaning it out today. does anyone else get this with outdoor hutches? it is due to humidity? what can i do and will it be harming the pigs? thanks

to clarify the hutch is almost new and when i say mould i don't mean rot, its more like a slight film over the wood. Iv never seen it before

Wash down with vinegar solution and place somewhere warm or in the sun (if your lucky). Then check again and repeat. If in doubt, chuck it out.

I have mould on the ramp part, but it's that bad that I am removing the ramp.
