Our two boars live inside our flat in two different cages since they fought- so are taking quite a lot of our living room! We are considering us those 2 options:

-put them in different rooms- but then they will feel lonely?
-put the two cages on our balcony
-buy a outdoor cage for our balcony - is there any way we can buy one hutch who has a two different levels but with a clear separation so that they don't fight?

Thanks!

Hi, in response to your options:
- separate rooms - your boars might not be willing to share a cage but at present I assume they are able to communicate with and see each other through the bars. Although not ideal to live alone this at least gives them some companionship and taking this away from them could leave them very lonely and subdued.
- balcony - indoor cages are too open and exposed for outdoor use. You need to be able to keep the pigs safe from the elements and any predators (local cats, birds - not just birds of prey but animals like magpies).
- outdoor hutch - it is entirely possible to buy a 2 in 1 hutch or to buy a 2 storey and take out the ramp/block up the hole yourself. However, you are likely to end up with two lonely males as in the separate rooms scenario where they are unable to communicate for companionship

Is the indoor space large enough to have a c and c cage on two tables with a divider so that they can still chat and you will still have storage space under the tables?
