Hi my guineas are being kept indoors but i was thinking of purchasing an outdoor wooden double tier cage and keeping it indoors would you recommend doing this.
You may find you cannot see / interact with them very easily in a hutch. C&C style cages or the extra large plastic&bars ones might make them more accessible?
I have seen pictures on here - can't remember who from of people who have done just that. Think it was a pets at home Bluebell hideaway hutch they used? I think as long as the piggies are getting ample space it's down to personal preference and circumstances e.g if you have cats/dogs and a C and C wouldn't be as safe. Dawsons Animal Housing make lovely indoor hutches which are completely wire fronted (no sleeping compartment door) and will build to your specification.
