Ok so stupid question alert...

I have indoor pigs at the minute. I've just bought an outdoor cage with run below so hopefully they can go out soon for a small amount of time then once summer is here I plan to move them outside permanently.

The ramp from ground to cage is detachable and has a cover to close the hole. Now...what is the intention? Should you close the pigs into the hutch every night or is the idea to just shut the ramp if its going to be cold or rainy?

don't worry about asking questions... i do it all the time ! I would say that they need to be shut in at night time for safety reasons x
