Hello everyone.

I posted a while ago in a different thread, re: Agnes' health issues. It's in the health thread anyway - but she will be seeing a vet this Thursday.

After getting some advice from the amazing people here, I decided to get rid completely of the wood shavings. I went and got the VetBed! It took me about 4 hours to clean the cage thoroughly, cut the bed into the shape of my cages. Put puppy training pads down / towels down. And nice and cosy fleeces down for them in their bed.

They were exploring it all and have to say they look really happy. I can't wait to see how they go on with their new digs.

I have got a 2 story cage and have been looking into those C&C cages, they look so cool, it would be really good to get into making one of them up for my girls.

But for now, I'm glad to give them this new bedding.

Thanks again guys.
:-)

I'm thinking about vetbed too for my smokey. How hot does it get? Silly question I know, but smokey is a long haired Peruvian. I don't want him getting too hot bathe only vetbed I've seen thus far was in PAH and was really quite fluffy x

Vet bed does not get hot. I buy mine from dogsproductsdirect. It is a lovely quality.

I'd love to hear how you get on with vetbed. I've never used it but love the fluffiness and am wondering about using it in our hutch - particularly over the winter as I think it might be warmer and I am also tempted as I think it might make the cleaning out a bit quicker.

I opted for Fleece in my c&c cage and have Fitch at the moment in our commercial cage and in the hutch.

I love my c&c cage - can recommend it if you do decide to switch - but I also do like the ferplast cages.
