My piggies go mental when they get new lettuce, a clean cage and fresh veggies literally hear them squeaking and popcorning for ages after - just wondering what yours go excited for? if not, the same....

Aww that is lovely. My piggies get really exited when I give them more hay!

Today I had my. 3 and my 2 out in runs next to each other and I noticed it was a bit windy so I hung along one side of both runs the towel I use with the pair to help carry them outside. (Helps them feel safer - they are a bit timid). They all got really excited about this - it was the most adventurous and curious I've seen them be so far.

They spent 20 minutes sniffing it, standing up on their back legs holding onto the wire mesh to examine it and snuggling up to it and pushing each other out the way to get the best position !

mine love it when i top up their pile of hay, they both just run through it squeaking! And they get excited about their pellets too, if i shake the tub they come up to the bars

Yep- The rustle of a plastic bag and mine go into competition who can squeak the loudest- their most favourite food are bay leaves, they will come up to my hand and take it from me, then its funny to watch all 5 of them with bay leave in mouth running off in different directions away from each others -- SHARE A BAY LEAF - NO CHANCE - LOL

As soon as the dust buster starts up Poe starts popcorning as my routine is dustbust poop and old hay then I always do pellets, water and veg then hay. He looks rather demented whilst hes doing it too. He is rather fearless as even when he is out running sometimes I will hoover and he tries to sit on the hoover and watch. .. While its on and its pretty noisy. Edgar is more nervous and only gets excited once the hoover stops and the haybag rustles....

Dandelion leaves, grass and veggies for me!
Mine love dandies (our new nickname for them. The pigs know what it means lol)

Mine have learnt that when my boyfriend goes past their hutch onto the lawn it usually means they get grass. You can see then lining up and wheeking at the front of the hutch waiting for him to come back with the goodies!

My girls get excited by all the regular stuff, fridge opening, bags rustling, their veggies, hay, readi grass, clean cage and just generally walking into the room lol. Storm is definitely the most excitable though and even loves the little dustpan and brush I use to clean them out. She follows me round the cage while I'm sweeping and will even do little popcorns. Occasionally she'll go in for a wee nibble so I'm not sure what she thinks it is.
