Thought I’d upload some pictures from a week ago of our herd in the kitchen while their cage was getting cleaned. Unfortunately our white with pink eyed piggy, Adaline has fallen out of our newly formed group. She has drawn blood with two other piggy’s. We may try her in time with 1 other piggy, but for now she is living on her own in her 2x4 cage! Once the cage is cleaned tonight I’ll add some pictures to this thread!:)6F348467-D8B3-46D6-9384-F2B94172A1AF.webpC8FAC146-500D-479B-AC9B-93FE8800D9AF.webp

aww such a lovely group. Sad that Adaline doesn't want to be with them... some piggies can be so fussy :))

We’ve had many piggies and I’ve never said this, but I think Adaline may be a solo pig. She does not seem to like anyone at all male or female :mal:

Oh bless her, as Jemima got older we had real problems introducing any new pigs. She bit Isobels lip but then a month later we managed to get them back as a foursome only for her to start losing weight. She had a few tests etc but it was put down as stress so I had to leave her in a pair with elderly Pete until she passed.

Some piggies are just so picky! I’m glad you found someone for her, I hope we do as well. We don’t have rescues over here that do piggy dating though, so it will definitely be a challenge!

Fantastic set up for them. Did she seem to have any of the current group that she liked that perhaps you could try her with as a pair?

Well she attacked the smallest, Penelope first. When that happened my husband and I talked about putting her in her own cage with our most submissive pig Sylvia because they were getting along great. Until a few days ago when she attacked Sylvia and that drew blood. So we’re just not quite sure what to do!

Your herd is absolutely stunning  it looked like a feeding frenzy in there!

What a gorgeous herd! :luv:
Looks like they had plenty of fun with dinner too! Love the before and after photos! :))

Yep, for sure! :)):)) Except, if she were one of my piggies, in a few minutes will have forgotten where the cucumber went. She can smell it, but cannot see it! :crazy:XD Where did it goooooo?

Actually funny thing is she will stash them next to her and then she forgets!
