They are from the rescue and all we know is that they are both babies. Compared to our beloved fatty Alfred, they are mini heehee

Cute and fluffy please keep pellets to a tablespoon each per day. They’re the junk food of the piggy world. Did you put in hides for them as well? At least two. And cover part of the cage so they can feel secure.

They have custom made hides and guinea dad bedding with their pouch at the end that they love to snuggle in together.
eventually I will limit their food, but right now because they are nervous and not coming out to eat or drink too much, I’m leaving a bowl of food and a bowl of water out all day for them. Mostly they LOVE their hay and have been munching on that inside their hideys. I love them!

I understand what you are saying, but you’d do better to just leave them a lot of extra hay rather than ever overfeeding pellets

Yes the 1 x tablespoon of pellets is for a whole day.

Pellets are only 5% of their diet, veg 15% and the main part, 80%, is hay.
