I am taking stock of what we have in the way of housing and runs for our rescue, and our outdoor runs are really on their last legs. They are the folding sort - 5' hinged so they can fold down and be put away, but the hinges have buckled and the tops are not secure. We will take them apart and use whatever is salvagable. But they weren't cheap. I am now looking at buying some runs, I would like them to be 5' or 6', top opening, secure. They do not need to fold. Can anyone recommend anything?

I'm not a rescue, but hope you don't mind me answering. :)

I recently bought a hutch and run from the Happy Hutch company and I'm thinking the latter might be just what you're after.

Mine is 6ft, feels very sturdy and opens at the top. It's missing a panel at one end because I bought the combi deal where it's meant to be screwed to the hutch permanently, but you can buy the complete run on its own here:

They go up to 7ft and as a bonus, will also fold!

if you want to see what mine looks like, I posted a photo on this thread:
