Hey!
I just put my guinea pigs back after them being on the grass for about an hour or so and I noticed some orange wee.
Their wee will usually goes orange after they’ve been on the grass.
I just wanted to know if it’s just oxidisation/orange pepper etc or if it’s something else to worry about.

Thank you so much! 154DE465-14E7-4B2A-A713-D5284C4ACEAC.webp2EA1C8C7-4D67-4757-BEAC-D72E884856C8.webp

Hi

Fresh grass itself can cause coloured wee in some piggies, as can lettuce. it is not just carrots and beetroot.
Just keep an eye out whether it happens otherwise.

Okay thank you. their wee usually does go orange after grass but it just seemed brighter this time? 🤨

Thank you so much
