Ok so i was looking around last night for a hutch, when i hit upon this

Which i REALLY like the idea of (obviously the 8ft by 3ft one) as it gives them maximum space, in the cold it will either move indoors and have fleece and towels under it or in the shed with the same, i can fill the run area up with houses and toys and stuff and then give them lots and lots of garden free time as well as having an indoor pen! :))
 
Fab size. Liking the idea. My only thought would be that the floor of the bed area is wooden - and would therefore soak up any urine, maybe getting smelly over time? But, I guess if you had a layer of waterproof something or other on the bottom, that would solve the problem. would just need cleaning every day....:)
 
I have lino on the bottom of my rabbits hutch with plenty of newspaper underneath and on top. You could put two layers of lino for extra protection. You can buy offcuts quite reasonably priced in carpet shops.
