Opinions on Timothy Meadow Hay?

Hi!

Ok, so I was going to get some more hay for the guineas. I feed Oxbows western timothy hay, and while I was picking it up, I noticed the store got in some oxbow timothy meadow hay. I’m not planning on switching to it, but i’m a bit curious, so I figured I’d ask y’all’s opinion on it.

From what my research says, it seems to be a softer hay, lower in fiber content than timothy hay, but higher in other vitamins.

It is probably just a bunch of different combinations of grasses, including timothy hay.

Meadow hay is absolutely fine to use - any grass hay is fine to use. Meadow hay is a mix of different types of grasses.
I use meadow hay all the time.
