We have just finished redecorating my office/piggy room and we are planning to build the pigsters some new cages, which I am sooo excited about! The hope is to give them all more space to run around and do pig stuff, particularly my two pairs. However it would mean that my group of four would be going from a cage approximately 20 square foot to just under 16 square feet. Do people think this is too small for a group of four? What would you consider the minimum square footage for a quad?

Thankyou in advance! :D

Well the MINIMUM RSCPA reccomended for 4 is 12 square foot, so 16sq foot would be adequte for them, but obviously the bigger the better :)

16 sq feet is the RSPCA minimum recommendation for a group of 6, so your girls have still got plenty of space!
You can always consider going vertical if you want to give them more opportunities to get away from each other. ;)

Lucky piggies, cannot wait to see what you come up with :)
