Today I just brought this pine bedding from Walmart and I was wondering if this is safe for them? I read a lot about pine beddings and I was wondering which is the best one for guinea pigs. I have used this other bedding for them for the past 3 years but the price is a little bit too expensive so I decided to go with something different which is the pine bedding

Whoops, didn't look at the picture closely enough. I wasn't sure about the brand, so I googled it and on a guinea pig US forum, most said this one's ok. The thread was from 2013, so I'd wait for other answers to be sure. :)

Okay thank you so much :D

That's what we used before we switched to fleece. A bit of warning - when Evan first started declining, it was determined that it began because of something stuck in his mouth behind his teeth which eventually caused his death 7 weeks later. The vet was convinced it was a piece of pine from his bedding that wasn't processed correctly. It was like a stick that he got stuck in his mouth. We still do some pine for Rolo and I inspect it before I put it down to make sure there aren't any sticky, hard pieces.
