It feels like the warmer weather is just so far away. I'm just so eager to get in the garden now. We moved into our newbuild shoebox style house last year with a blank canvas for a garden. I've spent months swotting up on gardening and now i'm ready (money permitting!) to start digging my borders. I have round my patio area complete as I started it early last year and have been adding to it throughout the year.. a mini scale practise so to speak.

I got my hutch yesterday - it's all ready and i'm very excited about making my piggies a lovely big run. Hubby as made them a cool shelter for when they are in the run and i'm going to let my little girl decorate it so she has been a part of it too. They're real family pets not just mine and I want to so badly have them out in the garden where we spend so much time eating, drinking, playing and generally being daft with my little girl. I'm looking forward to them being my company on an evening when i'm ouot there with my book and glass of wine. It's just such a lovely time of year, so chilled out, not so much house work to do, mud everywhere, washing drying on the line as apposed to needing a turbo boost iron to get creases out from thr tumble dryer, sun cleaming through the windows, driving to work isn't even a chore in the summer.

I just wish it was here.. even spring - it's a lovely time of year. Used to go camping in the spring 98) aye those were the times.

Yes i'm waffling but I feel i'm going to burst if I don't get outside soon.

It's a gorgeous day here today! for the first time in months I wasn't shivering on the football sidelines this morning ;D

I love Spring, and if this weather's anything to go by we're in for a lovely summer :)

Aw bev that isn't fair. We have a damp, dismal day, soggy grass due to rain and strong winds last night and it's still windy now.

You can tell when it's spring. The lawn mowers come out, people start washing their cars with the music blaring out the sterio. ::)
And the sun is shining! The cat comes back covered in dusty mud because she's been rolling round in the sun.
It's a really nice day here today.

We've had a lovely day too and tried the guineas in their new run for 15 minutes. They loved it but ate the grass as though they were starving girls presented with a feast so I brought them in after 15 mins, to their disgust. Just didn't want to risk upset tummies or bloat first time out. If we get some more good weather I'll build up the time gradually.
