Delilah has had a watery right eye for the past few days, I've had a good look and it doesn't appear cloudy, red or swollen, I can't see anything obviously wrong or any foreign objects in there, it's just simply watering. My best guess is allergies or some hay dust has got stuck in there somewhere as this popped up at the moment I started getting low on hay and had to feed them the scrapes from the bottom of the bag, it was incredibly dusty.

She doesn't seem too bothered and it's improving by itself slowly, but I imagine a constantly watering eye would be annoying. I did flush it once with warm water and it really helped for a short time but the issue is still there. I have some Maxitrol eye drops in that Paisley was prescribed when she tore her third eyelid, that stuff was great and healed Paisley's eye within 2 days, I also have Beaphar eye gel. Are either of these worth a try?

I don’t like to mess with eyes. Ointments and gels have very short lives after being opened so I wouldn't use them personally.

I also wouldn't risk using old eye treatments.
It is probably better to make up some sterile saline solution, and bathe her eye in this 2 - 3 times a day and see if that helps.

I agree not to use old meds the Beaphea is no good at all, it's just watered, down meds. Never use anything from a pet store, they are total rubbish.
Only get meds from a vet. I wouldn't flush the eye you could do more harm than good.
It's best if you take him to the vet, then see can give you appropriate meds.
Good luck.

George had something very similar about a year ago. The vet gave us antibiotic eye drops for a week. Poor old George wasn't keen but it started to clear very quickly once we started the eye drops. The vet also checked George's teeth in case they were causing the problem so was well worth the visit.
