Hi, my guniea pig lizzo seems off since I got her back from a friend Ik she has no issues when she was gone but once I got her back she very quite and scared and she won’t drink water but eat hay a little she seems to just lay and sleep around I’m not sure if it’s just because she’s nervous since I am typing this on the road to are home in Cali. Please let me know.

Ashe might be scared is you are travelling -
but we can’t know if there might be something else going on.
All we can suggest is that you get her home, cover her cage and let her settle.
Switch to daily weight checks so you can monitor hay intake (hay intake can’t be gauged by eye), and see a vet if you are concerned about her

Okay thank you she seems to settle a bit once we got home I still haven’t seen her drink water but she is eating her veggies and everything perfectly.
Hope that once she’s back home she settles back into her normal self again.

Teenage Guinea Pig
My pigs won't eat while travelling apart from the odd lettuce leaf but wont always eat that. Hopefully just stressed and she will settle at home.
