Omg stupid Webcam!

i was online to my lad mate we both had webcam on when i paused the webcam to get changed into a new skirt i'd bought today and to show him. Little did i no he could still see, my webcam hadnt paused at all.
thankgod i werent in the direct view of the camera, though my friend swore he swore me in underwear! :embarassed: i think he was callin bluff, but i wont know. I'm so blushed and ashamed! turns out the sneaky camera dont pause!

At least you're still young and have a good figure! If it was me, the camera would have broken and saved my blushes!

What a bummer, technology has come a long way, but for it not to pause....must've been invented by a male ;D ;D

Don't worry Natnat, I doubt that he saw anything. He's probably just mad because he knows you're out of his league ;)

Did you know, that if you get a certain virus through msn, the person who sent you the virus has control of the webcam and can turn it on wenever they like.

I don't find that hard to believe at all, nor my hubby who is in IT. Worrying really.
 
I heard that can happen.... people can control your computer remotely ie open dvd drives. A lot of unsavoury people use this to prey on vunerable people.

XD I can't pause mine on the program I use, so I always just tilt it up towards the ceiling, giving whoever is watching it a better view.

Also, people worrying about their webcam being used?

Simple - unplug it when you're not using it.
 
i have 2 webcams a new and old one. my old one freezes and has been bashed about abit. the boy looked very shocked on webcam but the topic on it has dropped. it showed me the webcam froozen. my new webcam means i can plug it in and out and it works without having to restart the pc.
i dont trust my old webcam its cursed ;D
