Hi
I am bringing two baby boars home from the rescue centre tomorrow and would like to try them with my older re home boar Henry who is a gorgeous laid back boy. What could i expect as normal and any advice on introductions would be welcomed.
Thanks

look at the sticky that gives lots of advice for bonding boars. It is not ideal to bond three togther you would be better with two pairs! maybe you could get a third baby boar for your existing one?

Well all has gone well up to yet Henry my adult boar has taken to the babies and is making a lovely fuss of them.We still went ahead with his planned neutering as long term we will rehome a sow for him and leave our baby boys together. But all fine for now and Henry has made a great recovery.

I'm glad that all went well, and Henry is a happy "uncle" for the time being.

Be aware that things can get lively when the two youngsters hit the hormones at a few months old. A girl in season can trigger fighting.

Thanks Vicki
Henry is recovering well form his neutering and we plan to re home a sow to live with him in a few weeks time. Then we will just keep our baby boys together they are doing really well

be sure that you wait the minimum recommended time of 4 weeks before introducing a sow otherwise you could have an accident x
