Old pillow cases as washer bags?

i used to use an old single duvet cover tied with an elastic band - this worked well, but i did find that occassionally the tie band would come untied and the contents were emptied in the washing machine.

I bought a specific bag for washing pet things in the washer:

wash bag

Single duvet covers make fab hay bale holders too as I found out :))
I also found out not to use a brand new one I had bought for my daughter. Didn't think she'd mind... mallethead

I had an old one that we used to use to keep stray hay from getting all over the car when we brought home a bale from the shop :))

I section up my hay and pop it into old pillow cases - the ones not in use stay in the garage, and the one I'm using can be easily stored in my bedroom with no fuss :)

But back to the original point, ive found a duvet cover works just as well as a wash bag, but its all personal taste and what works for you. :)
