The time has come for Betsy's last bum bath and trim of the year. I guess you could say she wasn't happy especially as I was drying her off. I'm so glad I don't speak guinea pig the air was positively blue!

Here she is after her bum bath wrapped up in a nice warm towel.

And after her trim on a towel to get the final bits of damp of her bum.

Please note if you are going to give your piggy a trim DO NOT use an ironing board if your piggy is a jumpy piggy. Betsy has been having bum baths and bum trims for years and is used to it and more importantly is not a jumpy piggy. Awww Betsy is looking so cute yet so frustrated at having ANOTHER bath! 🤣

She only gets a bum bath when needed which is 2-3 times a year. Not had to give her a full proper bath for almost a year now and only cos it was at the end of lice treatment to get any yukky dead lice of her.

Awww! My pigs get a full bath whenever needed which is when one of them pees on the other! 😂 Is there a way that i know when to give my boys a bum bath because they have never had one and they've been with me for 7months now?

I wouldn't be washing piggies that young even if they spray each other. That's part of their normal behaviour and they can groom their coats at that age. And now your 2 boys won't have the stress of being together, they won't be spraying each other.
