Later this am, a bargin deal as only paid £15 for a travelodge room and £25 for first class return[:)]

Plans so far include British museum as not been in years.....Shopping BIG time - Oxford St ,Camden market, Covent Garden..........the big veggie supermarket Fresh n Wild.

Also planning to work my way round a few of the fab vegan places to eat including one of the vegan Tai Chinese buffets[:D]

Only a one night break but will make me feel like ive had a break this half term after working the rest of the week!

Back tomorrow........

If I wasnt poorly I could have come to meet you

Have fun x

how did you get this deal? please please tell me.

we still need to find a cheap train going from london stansted to york, or with the bus, but its all very expensive.. where do I find those bargain tickets, how do I start? what do I need to look out for?

have a great time hubby wants to got o London for a short break later this year his sister lives in Bermondsey watched the London Dungeons on most haunted last night jesussssssssss was they scared , think i'll give that miss but would love the Imperial war museum

Hello had a brill time in London - so busy today not had time to post!

Hotel was fine such a bargin at £15  first class train was great too!

Went shopping, lots of nice vegan eating places to visit and went to the British museum :D

Nice short break!

The war museum is well worth it went last year......Victoria and Albert museum very good too and science museum and history one (I love museums me)

One of the best is the smaller John Sloane museum - a museum in a wonderful house its really Wow!

Now cheap breaks! I always stay travelodge they do £26 rooms sometimes £15 booked well in advance, at the mo most London travelodges have £26 rooms this July/Aug and at other times too. The ones that discount are often the 2 by Kings cross - not best of areas but cheap and i go on my own and have felt safe :)
I like Marylebone travelodge too. All by tubes or bus routes.

The hotels are clean and basic but safe, better than a cheap b&b in London.Have got photos if anyone wants to see the travelodges?

The train deal was thru Daily mail - i have a spare voucher set if your interested Abnoba? you book on the virgin train site its valid til end March but I'm not sure whats left? mine was £25 1st class Birmingham to Euston, could of had normal seat for £10.
I will have a look if you want? if you let me know dates your thinking of going - ive got the sites bookmarked!
Are you looking for travelodge too?

Alison
