Hi all, didnt know if i should put this in pregnancy or here so feel free to move if needed.

Right Violet still hasnt had her mini pigs and her behaviour is becoming quite strange. First she is pulling out her fur from her front legs, second when the babies kick she is biting where they did it and finally she was very 'off' with Ivy - Ivy and Violet were talking through the cage so I carefully scooped Violet up in her tube and picked Ivy up so they could sit next to each other on my knee and Violet practicaly through Ivy off, thank goodness I was sat on the floor! Poor Ivy looked very hurt (feelings not physically) and Violet just snuggled under my jumper. I think she is taking this pregnancy really badly, we have worked out that presuming the dates we were given were wrong (which they must be) then the last possible due date is thursday (basing on a season of 17 days from the day I got her plus 70 days gestation) Anyway I'm hoping she goes back to normal after the bubs are born as she and Ivy used to love each other :(
Can we please have some 'have babies Violet' vibes please.
Thanks
Love
Sarah

Oh shes a hormonal nark Sarah!...Haha! Bless her! She defo pregnant? Can you seperate the girls and have them live side by side. Sounds like Violet wants her own space. :smitten:

Yep she is definatly pregnant and they do live side by side, I just thought they would like a cuddle ::) She is definatly a narky moo at the mo ;D

I reckon your little preggy one has the moods, badly.
Leave them side by side until the babies are born and old enough to be separated or living with them, then try introducing Ivy back.

In the meantime just leave them separated and no cuddles together...

Morgan went nearly psycho at Gose when they where pregnant! She would follow Goose around and deliberatly push her around!
She was a nasty piece of work!
But since giving birth she has calmed down alot and her and Goose get on very well even in the big group!
Just wait and see Bubs will stop moving about 2 days before coming out!
Good Luck O0 :smitten:

I think sometimes heavily pregnant sows get a bit twitchy ... well, like humans! ;D

If they live together normally quite happily then I think perhaps they should stay together as separating them now might cause the pregnant one stress.

Hopefully things will settle down once the babies have arrived!
