O2 thicky!

Ok, in the middle of changing to O2 and I just got a text to say I can have a free ringtone and some other stuff :)

Been on the website but haven't a clue how to get the free stuff! Help please! ;)

 
If you can give me half hr ish I can tell you :) My boy knows how, he only did it a few days ago when he got a new sim and phone :) and if you like delivery reports with your texts, O2 don't actually support this, but, if you put at the start of a text *0# then a space then just write your text you will get a delivery report :)
 
it tells you if theyve recieved the text or not
ive got it on my O2
 
Ah. My T Mobile says it's gone through, but not if it actually got there.

I couldn't live with out mine.

Edit, just had a look on O2. I cant see anything either. Did they give you any 'directions'?
 
can anyone tell me why 3-networkers keep ringing me to ask if i want an update when i have a nokia? and how the hell did they get my number? freaky! ?
 
Just use the WAP and go to the O2 home page which should already be set up by default on the sim or if not its wap.o2.co.uk and then choose your ringtone and game!

I tried to text you and tell you then realised you will have a new number.... DUH 98)

Ah yes thank you - I got the text - not topping it up til thursday anyway so will be texting you all with my new number! Thanx for the delivery report bit - will have to remember that as I like to use that :-\
 
I just put it into a text template so I dont have to type it every time just insert the template before I start then write the text! It is good getting free texts though, I've still got 400 left and my allowance runs out in 4 days :o but haven't topped up as much this month so will just get 500 on the 9th, that'll do me just fine :)

good idea! ;) Gonna start off with the 500 as when I've got them I can text everyone like crazy! ;)

YAY! I've got all the free stuff and I can send and receive picture messages at last!

when ever o2 send me the free stuff message i just delite it lol.
 
When I signed upto o2, about a year ago now or more, i got that 'you got a free ringtone text' i just deleted it lol

I lvoe my free texts, top up 10 get 300 free text, top up 20 get 500 top or 30 get 1000, for the past few months ive had 1000 free texts :D i'm so cool!

I love o2 I think it's great.
 
I topped up by £15 and I got 1000 LOL ;) last month

At the moment I have the 500 again by £15 because I forgot my top up date! :D
 
I have o2 and would never change as the deals I get are Great !
I get my free 500 text per month and if ive topped up by £15 I get 150 minutes evening and weekend calls free, I have a reward which is 15 free minutes too every month for 3 months( then you can change reward)
when you top up with £20 at one time you get £5 free plus you get 10% saved up of your top ups and given back to you every 12 weeks.
Some these you have to have been with o2 for 3 months to qualify
