Nye is healing up smoothly, but he is still a 6 months old teenage boy (the time the hormones are at their highest, and a neutering operation is NOT changing that!), so whenever he gets too boisterous and persistent for his mate Nosgan's patience, he gets some extra time on the roaming ground to vent his excess energy. He is much more like his usual affectionate and easy going self when he goes back to Nosgan in the cage. They are happily snoozing next to each other afterwards.
The boys are still very happily and closely bonded and complement each other really well; their disputes don't go past some inevitable chasing/mounting and the odd teeth chatter.
