Hi

Please can anyone advise the best way to administer these powdered capsules. I’ve been tipping them onto wet grass but it takes forever to administer as my guinea will only eat so much in one sitting.
I saw someone said mix with water and syringe in, but it doesn’t dissolve in a small amount of water and is lumpy, so this isn’t working either.
Thank you in advance.

I would try in water. If you make a paste first then add more water so it’s mixed nicely. Then you can syringe it.

Thank you. How much water would you use please? She hates syringes and is getting worse with them, so I tried 3ml, but it wouldn’t dissolve and remained lumpy.

I would mix it with a couple of mls of water in a small empty medicine bottle. If you do that and shake it vigorously it will dissolve much more easily and the lumps will disperse. I would then give it to her in a syringe directly into the mouth.

Thank you. That is what I did in an old Loxicom bottle. Half of it just stuck to the sides of the bottle. Must be my method, I’ll have another try!
