I heard "Nothing compares to you" on the radio this morning, and i remember that was at number one for ages.

Does anyone know what the longest-running number one was?

Ah, wet wet wet's everything i do(i do it for you). I think you're right.
But i know Gnarls Barklay's crazy was top for quite a while to. I dont know any others.

Oh yes, they were all there for ages too, weren't they? I wondered if it was Bohemian Rhapsody maybe?

I love "Crazy" too ;D

...I just have to add that I was expecting to be reading about wee/urine when I saw this thread ;D

I'm sure it was either byran adams or wet wet wet as already suggested :)

Gnarls Barkley only managed 9 weeks but fab song, loved his 2nd release too!

Me too ;D Maybe it's a mum thing ;)

I think it was Bryan Adams

Although people are saying Bryan Adams, and they're right... "Everything I do (I do it for you)" did spend 16 consecutive weeks at number one (7 July-26 October 1991), Frankie Laine spent 18 weeks at number one with "I believe" in 1953, although this was on three separate occassions - weeks ending 25 April-26 June, 3 July-15 August and 22 August-12 September.

From yahoo :)

So you obviously haven't lost your touch,,,, so when is 'Mondays Fact' going to come back? ? :P
