Hello, I know the next one isn't normally until September but The Excellent Adventure Sanctuary has been hit with a huge vets bill this month and are experiencing some financial difficulties. So I thought we'd run another to try and help.

For those of you that are unaware of TEAS they are a dental Sanctuary for piggies with extreme dental problems. This is run by one lady Debbie @furryfriends Excellent Adventure Sanctuary and she provides round the clock syringe feeding to those that need it amongst other things. Debbie has several permanent residents that require ongoing dental treatment at her expert vets and until recently has taken in temporary residents until they have recovered enough to go back to their owners.

Debbie has not charged a fee in the past for piggies in her care and TEAS is often left picking up bills for everyday things like vegetables, hay and bedding (we all know how costly that can be) not to mention the huge vet bills that can arise. So relies on fund-raising and donations to keep running

There will be a great prize in the free prize draw this month which I hope to be able to announce over the next few days. Entries are once again 50p a photo

You may enter as many photos as you like, each photo costs 50p and you can pay by paypal. Then post your photo in this thread Paypal your 50p to [email protected] - Stating it is for the photo entry - Remember the whole of your submission fee goes to helping piggies with severe dental problems who are being looked after by Debbie at her Dental Sanctuary.

All photos uploaded here will also be shared on our Facebook page unless you explicitly tell us that you do not wish to have them shared

You do not have to win the Photo competition to win the Monthly prize draw. We are due a winner at the end of this one! The more photos you enter the greater your chance of winning a fab Piggie Present!

Thank you so much! We have indeed had huge vet bills recently, and with our account standing at owing over £400 just one week into November, then you can imagine my concern that we are going to run out of money very soon. The bill for end of October was in excess of £500 and September was in excess of £600. I want to continue offering help to these extra special piggies but this can only happen if we have the money to pay for the vet bills.
 
I don' t have any piggys to send photo's, I will send a donation because I love seeing everyone else's lovely piggys x
 
I have a lovely one of Kevin but it seems to have been lost! I'll just have to drool over everyone else's piggie-wigs. :drool:

Afraid I dont do paypal, for my photo's can I send a cheque donation to the sanctuary instead?
Also if I mention I'm a taxpayer can u claim it as gift aid too?

Ooooh dear, Pixel (Queen of the Chookin Legs in katanamoon HQ) will be costing me money again this month! :)) Will dig out some of the finest shortly...
