So I was always confused/worried when I saw Mo (my boar) stand still and sort of 'bounce' I suppose. I don't know how to explain what happens and he can walk etc whilst it's happening but it is like little jumps. I went to the almighty google- ha ha- and apparently it's hiccups...which greatly put my mind at rest especially when Google usually says it's something really bad. And apparently loads of people like me also wondered what it is. I'm only curious about who else experiences this because my first piggy Vinny never hiccuped once to my knowledge so is it something I should worry about? He doesn't do it regularly and though he clearly isn't in pain when it happens and actually seems oblivious it does frighten me a little to watch. :)

Hiccups do happen occasionally they should pass fairly quickly

One of mine seems to get hiccups all the time. I've never worked out which one it is, I'm never actually in the room when it happens, but I'm pretty sure it's B. I agree, it can appear scary, but I figure since it doesn't actually bother them, it's not a problem.

Heaving hiccups can happen; they should pass pretty quickly. They can look rather dramatic.

I've never seen my piggies hiccup but I get hiccups nearly every day! Only a few then they stop for a few hours then come back again for a few hics!
