Not Sure What To Do About Fleece

I have a fleece liner, but it's in a (open) bin bag outside and needs washing, but it's been there for more than a few months as many things has happened and it completely flew out of my mind. Hate to think of the things in it and on it now, but it was around forty pounds and spent a lot of time waiting for it. Any advice on what to do with it? I'm really stuck but I loved that thing and not sure if even a professional cleaning would help it now

I'd give it a go through the washing machine and then have a look to see if it's saveable. You could always give it a once over with a hose pipe or a wash outside first if you don't fancy putting it straight in the washing machine.

Thanks! I'm more concerned about the bugs possibly in it to be honest though.

Try washing with some vinegar to help kill bugs maybe? Also maybe do quite a hot wash.

I've managed to wash fleece at 90 with no issues.

Wash with hottest water and bleach. Rinse well before putting back in the cage.
