I just adopted an adult male and will be buying a baby male some time next week. Right now the cage that the adult male came with is way too small.
I found a few online I am just not sure what one is best. Right now I really don't want to spend more then $75us

I also found this one on craigslist but I don't knowif it is good for a guinea pig.

Yeah i saw him in stories and pics, as i said your daughter and Ming-Ming are just gorgeous x)
You're always best to go a bit larger as you'll need to have 2 of everything this will help in the bonding.
Use cardboard boxes for them as hidey's one it's cheap and two it's fun to nibble on :(|) They do love the stick hidey's etc.. as well, mine had a mini one when they first came to me at 6 weeks but now they have the large one, i use the mini one leaning up against a cardboard box, it's still a fav spot for them :)

Thank you so much! In some time we will get a much larger cage for them. My husband and I have rescude a few animals nursed them to health and found a new good home for them but this guy we LOVE and so do my daughters so he is a keeper LOL

Good on you both x)
You'll see reading thru the threads on here, many who rescue and then just can't quite give them away again :(|)

The one from craigslist is a definite no as a guinea pig could be seriously injured by falling from the higher platforms.

The other types of cage are fine design wise but I'm not sure about size. The recommended minimum size for 2 guinea pigs is 120cm x 60cm which is about 4ft x 2ft.

I know this is a UK site so not any use to you, but just for info this is the size cage normally recommended on the forum.

It's better to spend the money on getting a bigger cage as you will have happier pigs with less chance of fall outs. :)

I bought the one I last I posted about it is 40" L X 21" W X 20" H and has a second level. I hope this will hold them over intill the spring when we built an outdoor hutch.
