Hey everyone!

Just thought I'd let you guys know what I've been doing with piggers and maybe it can work for some of you too :)

I have a C+C cage split in two as my boys don't get along. They were both peeing all along the perimeter and I was having to change their newspaper, towels and fleece three times a week as they were so stinky! So I was in Poundland and saw they had cat litter trays for £1 (lol obvs). I filled them up with sawdust and put the food bowl at one end and the hay rack at the other end.

Both of my piggies have been fantastic and have been peeing in the litter boxes for 90% of their wee's! I put up some little fleece tents the corner and both had done a little wee under there but other than that they use the tray.

Its been great as I've changed the litter tray every second day and there has been no stinkiness :D

I tried that for my girls and they just used the litter trays to sleep in!

Haha. I have never bothered to try litter training my pigs, however i have added a box under the hay rack (just for them to play in) it is lined with newspaper and they can pull the hay from the rack to snuggle into, however one has decided he prefers peeing on newspaper so he gets a soggy bum, rather than fleece! I havnt decided if this is good or bad yet. Atleast its spice not sugar (who is white)
