Not happy with zooplus!

I'm really annoyed, I ordered a cage a week ago and it **** hasn't arrived.

I rang them today asking ho long it would take and theysad he hasn't even been dispatched:{ then they aid itwill now take another 4 working days.

They said they would ring the warehouse and ask but it s very slapdash! It was in stock apparently when I ordered it so why the delay?

Has anyone else had problems with zooplus?
 
I waited a week for a cage, when it came it was poorly packaged, I think it had gotten damp and was damaged. I had to wait a week for the replacement which was also damaged but I didn't want to wait another week so kept it and taped it. They are shipped from Germany apparently.
 
Ohhh they are shipped from germany, I don't mind the wait if from abroad but they state on their website 3 - 4 working days, and when you ring they don't seem to know where your order is which is bad service:(

It's bad that both times yours were damaged, and doesn't fill me with much faith in them to be honest.
 
I think I got lucky when I ordered my cage from zooplus, it arrived quickly and in good condition. I've heard alot of stories about cages getting damaged and bits missing. Hope it arrives soon :)
 
Another thing, the instructions were very poor, we had to dismantle a couple of bits before getting it right. The water bottle that was supplied was rubbish, it leaked so that went into the bin. Hope everything is fine when you finally receive it.
 
which one did you order can I ask ? I may order from them! their cages are cheap
 
They are not selling the cage I bought now. They were probably all damaged :))

Here is a pic of the cage though, it's 4ft by 2ft and was £62.90.

Sorry you are having problems with getting your cage from zooplus, it is frustrating.

I have to say that I have never had problems with them, I have had a bout 5 cages delivered to me, and they have all arrived in good condition within 4 days, so I don't know if I am lucky or if you have been unlucky. I do know a lot of other people who have ordered cages from them with no problems as well, all arrived within a week, so I would hope you will get it sorted with them, as I think they do have a good reputation. But I know again that other people on the forum have had problems, but I think sometimes you are more likely to hear about the problems rather than the instances when everything has been fine.

Hope it gets sorted soon

Thats good, it's a relief to hear that you have had that many cages without problems, I don't mind waiting if they specified a time scale I have waited in this week:( and they don't seem to know where the cage is either atm lol
 
I ordered the 4 ft double decker on Monday and it arrived today. I built it in about 40 mins and nothing was broken. It's just a good job that I have trustworthy neighbours as I was at work when it arrived and parcel force just left it outside!

I ordered mine last Friday, and was expecting it this week, perhaps I have been unlucky then which doesn't surprise me!

Glad I'm hearing some good news though:))
 
I have ordered from these too, and my hutch was fine and took about 3 days to get to me... and waiting on a delivery today :)
 
I ordered a corner cage from zooplus, it took over 10 days to arrive as at first they sent me a dog muzzle instead! After several emails and phone calls my cage finally arrived in a battered box and no instructions, the cage itself is poorly made and I am only keeping it due to the sheer size and shape of it. The water bottles leaked straight away so I would advice you to have another bottle or so handy. Also be prepared for your actual cage to be bashed, mine was, thankfully I could straighten out the bars.
 
I have seen them on ebay selling damaged stock, I didn't realise they had there own web shop...... prices look good! Hope you get your order soon and it's ok!

Have had quite a few things from zooplus and have never had any problems. Hope yours arrives soon.
 
I ordered 4 geoplast tubs, they came quick but were so jammed into each other they were all broken, I contacted them and they straight away said send pics and we will replace them, 2 and a half weeks later and 3 attempts they were addimant they did not recieve the pics but werent replying to say this and I had to kick up. They did replace them though and I got a decent amount of money off.

Update!

Got e mail yesterday from zoo plus cage not in stock until December! Why did it say in stock when I ordered it!

Might get a refund because I have had enough of them already, the only thing is what cage can I buy for that size and price:{
 
Will they give you discount? or free postage or something for messing you around and making you wait until December, might be worth a try :)

zooplus said they would give me a refund for the cage as I didn't want to wait until December.

I asked if they had the corner double story cage in stock as I also liked this one and they said they did so fingers crossed I receive this cage in the next few days! keep you posted!:{
 
I have a cage! at last it has arrived from zooplus!

It is a two tier corner cage and it's huge they will have plenty more room than in the 120cm I had before even on one level

Hope all the bits are there as I am going to build it now!
