Adult Guinea Pig
These two girls, Inka (left) and Bonnie, have been living in adjacent cages since their partners died. I would like to get them to bond so that I can put them in one cage, and then have only 4 cages to clean.
I put them out on the grass last week (when the weather was nice) in the same run. It looked good for a while. They ate a lot of grass and relaxed together in the shelter. But a few minutes later, Inka claimed the shelter as her own and wouldn't let Bonnie in it. Teeth were chattered and hackles were raised. So I think we can call that a big FAIL! At 4 and 6 years old, maybe they're just too old.
