Non-slip vetbed a bad idea?

Does anyone have the non-slip vetbed (rather than the traditional green backed stuff)? Does it stop the wee coming through and smell more? I've seen some funky cow print non-slip vetbed but will stick to the normal one if it's a bad idea.

It is personal preference really, I have had both sorts, green backed and nonslip and I prefer the green backed as it dries quicker and doesn't seem as stiff, also I heard that the plain vet bed stays less smelly for longer than the printed, but not sure what the reason is behind that.

I've never used vet bed didn't even know there was two different types !

I had some of the cow print stuff

Never noticed a difference between the non slip and the green backed stuff to be honest.
