noises?

hi

i am so new to this

my guinea pigs keep making a high squeaking noise when eating and being held which i presume is a good noise?

also - tink when i hold her does a wee shuddering shake and makes a wee purr noise is that normal?

The high squeaking noise tends to be one of excitement, you'll notice it more when your feeding them, also if the purring is quite a long burst of it it means that they're liking whatever your doing to them but mine sometimes do it if there is a sudden loud noise and it'll be a short purr which means they're scared.
