my boys make 2 near identical noises not sure which one means which one is a highish pitched prrrrrrr sound and the other is a lower brrrrrrr sound any ideas
A low, short sharp brrr means "I don;t like that", a mid pitch constant rrrrr is a rumble, usually accompanied by bum wiggling (which is why we call it rumble strutting) - that is dominance. A highish soft rrr when cuddled is a purr of contentment.
