Noises What Do They Mean

My new guinea pig has started making squeaky whooping noises when I go near the cAge and talk to him, he has been quiet up until now , they are quiet loud , also he was easy to pick up , now he tears around the cAge , has he just got his confidence do you think?
Trying to find him a friend but my local rescue is closed at the moment , hope he is not too lonely!

It sounds like he has settled in and has started begging and popcorning (which means that he is happy and comfy in his new home). Sadly, Becklen Rescue have closed down; have you considered contacting Tees Valley Rescue?
