Our new guinea pig, Thor, has only been rescued and living with us for a week. He's been gradually making more noises-wheeking when we open the fridge (he gets lots of veggie treats) and purring a bit when we snuggle with him...but how much noise indicates a happy piggy?

Adult Guinea Pig
a more comfortable pig (ie one who trusts you and his surroundiings) usually make more noise, since being prey animals they are naturally inclined to keep quiet so they don't get attacked. My pigs when they're happy make kind of a "bubbling chirping noise" if that makes sense lol.
