does anyone else's guineas become more active at night? :Ayociexp113: my lot are weird, i fill the hayracks up in the mornings and when i go to bed they're still pretty much full along with the bowls, but when i wake up they're always empty!
also i hear them scurrying about and wheeking! and i hear their water bottles clinking.
i know guinea pigs arn't nocturnal, but i don't think mine got the memo mallethead
anyone else hear them at night when they should be zzz :laluot_28:

Mine always seem to eat most at night - the hayracks are always empty in the morning

Maybe they must like the peace and quiet - no voices, no TV, no hooman scurrying or if they are outdoor imagine how quiet and peaceful it is outside at night :))

Mine are very active at night. They start about 8 o'clock and they rush about, popcorn loads, eat, drink and generally have a great time. All food has been eaten when I get up in the morning. :))

Mine tend to get very active just before I go to bed between 10-11.30. I usually fill up the hay before I go to bed and usually it's all gone by morning. I agree, they probably enjoy having peace and quiet away from us noisy humans!

My two just sleep and eat all day and then have a mental few hours about 9 ish after veggies :D

Mine do a general rotation of...

Eat, sleep, sleep, eat, run about, eat, sleep, run, eat, eat, eat, sleep, wrap self in hay, eat hay, sleep, snuggle, eat, sleep, get fussed, sleep, eat, eat.

This occurs day and night :))
