I need some advice on 2 things which I'm unsure about.

1) I have 3 male piggies, all who live alone due to serious fighting. They are all happy enough living next to each other but come face to face and its war. Dexter and Dustin are fine but Darwin is constantly wiggling his bum making the rumble noise through the bars of his cage at the others. ive seen them all do it when face to face so i know its them telling each other to back off, but darwin constantly does it towards Dustin. I dont know if hes just being a moody wee so n so or if he is trying to romance him ( i know they are both similar). They are all deffinately males.

2) Again problem with Darwin (poor thingv:)). I give all 3 of my boys the same amount of love and affection as each other. The problem is if ive had a cuddle with the other 2 and darwin smells them, he nips me. None of them are biters but Darwin seems to only do it if ive held the others. He never does this with my bf. Is this jealousy? In darwins books, if your not me then your a nobody, he is a total mummys boy but do guinea pigs get jealous? ?/

rumbling is actually how they flirt!:rose as for the nipping, i've never known a guinea pig to get jealous, ?/ but i suppose that could be the reason?

the noise they make when they're fighting is abit like a chchchchc noise. rumbling is where they kind of purr & wiggle their bums, which is when they're trying to romance each other, just thought i better be abit clearer! x

Oh my hes romancing! haha
Is the noise like a Drrrrrrrrrrr while shaking his hips? It dosent sound like a purr and they use do it before the teeth chatter started.

Maybe i should set him up on a date for a quicky and let it all out haha

haha! bless him! yeah the teeth chatter is a fightey noise, the rumbly bum wiggle is flirting ") do they fight badly or could it just be a dominance thing? guinea pigs are so social it's a shame to have them seperate x

is it normal for males to do that to other males?

Yeah the fights are bad. Darwin and Dexter use to live together when we got them (brothers) and one day they started fighting and dexter got his ear ripped off (luckily vet manged to sew it back and its fine) so we seperated them but they got out to play together and were fine so i think that was a dominance thing. Then we adopted Dustin and introuduced them and him and dexter got in a fight and he ended up with a cut lip. So we tryed again and again and the fighting contiuned. Last time we tryed dexter got a cut on his ear. I didnt want to give up but its not fair on them and i dont want them to get hurt. They are actually are alot happier living themselfs. All the cages are side by side and believe it or not are miserable without one another but face to face it truley is war lol. So i have yet to see guinea pigs living in harmony haha. I do feel bad for them and life would be so much easier if they all got along but if they are happy then I'm happy. :D

yeah i don't think they're too fussy to be honest. if there's no ladies about they'll try it on with anything! mine tried to romance his cosy cave when i first got him it! :<>
awww naughty piggies! ouuuch! i bet that really hurt :(
