So today I was scattering pellets to my female piggies and their are not tame yet since I just adopted them, they both where getting close and then bit me a little bit it didn't hurt but I came back to spot clean a little and they got closer to me again and then one of them bit me hard I didn't flinch or anything I finished spot cleaning and then I left am I doing something wrong or is the normal since they are still getting used to their environment?

one of my boys bites everything once to see what it is the other will give me a nip whenever he's on my lap and my hands are not feeding him or petting him just to remind me that he is the centre of the universe and deserves my attention. Just remember that without hands and without being able to speak biting can be a way of communicating or just a way too explore. I would let them settle in and get used to you before worrying.

Yes they where rescued from a family that never fed them vegetables and had them in those small cages that where of course to small for them and they where barley handled they got them from a petstore. They are about 5-8 months old.
