Well, the dominant one nips, usually a heavy nudge which makes her squeal loud, no blood or wounds or anything like that, and they like eachothers other than that, is this normal?
Yes if it is going under the chin and pulling at hair it is a way of showing the other pig whos boss. If the other pig lets them do it and squeels it is them submitting to the alpha pig. They may also nibble ears and cheeks. Its not biting as such more agressive grooming. The alpha pig also tends to clean any food spills from under the others mouth (veggies tend to make a mess under there)
It is not normal to bite and draw blood or fly at another pig. There is a section about sow behaviour and boar bonding both which contain info so you can better understand what is excessive and what is normal.
