Anyone fancy a trip to Northern Ireland on a pig napping mission?Hi & Welcome to our friendly forum.
Freddie's adorable all that hair everywhere. Watch he doesn't get pig napped Lol
Wow! I had to do a double-take there. I thought that was my Freddie for a moment, and wondered where he had found the lovely soft blanket! They must be cousins, related somewhere in the mists of time! What a stunning piggy. He looks a lot like my Merab’s mother Tamar (still sorely missed).
She had the same crazy hair and colouring.
Merab has the colouring but not quite the crazy hair.
More pics of your gorgeous Freddie needed please.

I must find a way of transferring old pics of Tamar onto my phone so I can post one. She was Freddie ‘s double.Wow! I had to do a double-take there. I'm coming with!Anyone fancy a trip to Northern Ireland on a pig napping mission?
Thank you. I think so too! That's a very handsome piggy you have there
Hahahaha. Don't even *dream* about it you two!I Can't go cos I'm frightened on planes, sick on boats, you go get him Merabs slave, move closer to me & we'll share him.
Just had to post one of my hairy piggies! This is Lily, one of my Ayrshire girls. ( adopted from Ayr Rescue) Hard to tell sometimes which end I’m looking at!What a gorgeous wee dote Tamar was. Wild fringe, just like Freddie's. Tell me, did she let you trim it now and then? I tried to trim Freddie's fringe so he could "see out" better but, he wasn't impressed by my hair-dressing skills, or rather the lack of them! Definitely lop-sided result! Now, if he even sees the scissors, he runs away into his bedroom and hides! Was Tamar an Abysinian guinea pig too? Can't see any curly 'rosettes' in her pic. Love her colouring. ♡
Awww we'd only borrow him.Hahahaha! Don't even *dream* about it, you two!
Thank you. She was gorgeous. I only trimmed her rear to stop it getting all matted and yucky. She sat quietly while I did that. She may have had some Abyssinian but no noticeable rosettes. Her daughter Merab does have 2 rosettes on her back. We think Tamar was mostly a mop! What a gorgeous wee dote Tamar was. Wild fringe, just like Freddie's. Lovely girl. You you ever trim the length of her hair? I'm tempted to trim Freddie so he looks less like Dougal from the Magic Roundabout" - are you too young to get that reference? Probably! - oh well, I mean simply to reduce the 'hovercraft look' and keep his hair clean and clarar of the ground. So far, he has thwarted all my efforts!View attachment 83402

But a what gorgeous 'mop'! Yeah, I asked our Vet nurse to trim around Freddie's bottom too, for the same reason. He was scandalised, but is so much cleaner since.Thank you. She was gorgeous.
