I keep all veg in fridge and my piggies (not in fridge) seem ok eating stuff.
We love greens

I think the E coli on veg is a fairly common US problem. It's a good idea to always wash fresh fruit and veg before eating. The worst culprit for food poisoning is already washed bagged salad. I stopped buying after I had a second bout of food poisoning from eating it. Once was unfortunate but twice bitten is a no from me!

Gosh over here there is brands of washed bagged salads that get recalled often for e-coli.
