So my little george has been on his tod since his cage mate sam decided they weren't such good friends after all and they were separated. George is 5 and suffers with bad arthritis which he's on daily pain relief for, so although I thought of adopting a baby boy for him I didn't think it would be a great idea due to his health and age. I'm at the point where I'd like one big group of pigs together rather than many pairs. . So getting a baby boy didn't seem the best choice in that aspect either. So I've been trying to think of a suitable plan..

As if by fate my mum contacted me as one of her boy pigs passed away recently and the other boy was v stressed and lonely. Basil is 4 minimum and so I took the plunge and decided to bond basil and George.

Soo one week later after their initial meet and voila!

It's really sad that basil lost his brother but they george and him have really clicked and found a friend in eachother. It's lovely to see them both so happy. Two slightly older gents enjoying life.

Aww bless them. They look so happy to be together.

Congratulations, they look great together.

The start of a beautiful friendship

It's great, both of them had lost their squeak and would usually not bother coming to say hello anymore but now they have a new lease of life and are squeaking, running about and a lot more social. Perfect timing for them both.

Really pleased it has worked out for them - they look v relaxed. love older boys - they are great.
