New (to us) cage - yay

Although I'd love a C&C cage I need something that can be moved around easily, I was flicking through a local classifieds site over the weekend and spotted a practically new Nero 4 cage Gave them a call yesterday and they still had it
Of course I went over as soon as I got home from work, it was a struggle fitting it in my little 106 but I got it home

Unfortunately by that point after a 12 hour shift at work and nearly an extra hour travelling for the cage I was too shattered to swap them over so I'll be getting them moved around tonight

I have held onto my own traditional two cages and they come in handy on occasion; especially when we are taking piggies on medication with us on our monthly weekend trips to mum-in-law or having to slowly introduce new members to the tribe.

Can I just ask what you use to line the cage?

We use newspaper and sawdust and its all over my carpet from Logan popping around and flicking it half way across the room, I'm trying to teach him that making a mess results in the hoover being turned on (which he hates) but no he's just too happy I think "pop pop pop pop pop" Super cute though.

Also are guinea pigs capable of using a litter tray, Ive noticed he only pees in one corner of the cage would putting a tray there be a good idea at all? He pees an awful lot for such a small guinea pig!

ClaireBear in the cage there is newspaper with an old towel on top & then a fleece blanket covering it. I can sweep up poops each day then wash the fleece & towel every 2 or 3 days.

If he only pees in 1 corner you could try a litter tray, mine seem to go in that corner more than anywhere else but they go everywhere really rolleyes
