Hello everyone we're new to this site.

My name is Debbie. I am 19 years old, a part time model and my biggest hobby at the moment is belly dancing. I love to play with my guinae pig and I miss her terribly when I go away to London. I am trying to find another guinae pig of a nice temperment to keep Acorah company whilst I am away.

Acorah is 15 months old. She is one of 5 children. Her mother and father, along with twin brother and little sister are all owned by my sister and her two little brothers are owned by my mother. Acorah has had some problems with her health in the past and so has had to be kept on her own so I can keep a close eye on her, however this means that she is now scared of most of her family. She loves nothing more than to sit on my lap for cuddles or to be a naughty pig and explore under my bed as she is allowed open floor time every day (with the exclusion of under my bed).

no piggy? -looks amazed- but...they're adorable! we have 9 and I'm looking to adopt one.
 
Taz and Kara live together Taz is neutered.
Tika and baby girl live together. Tika is Neutered.
Pepper pig and Daz pig live together. Daz pig is neutered.
Moo pig and patch pig live together. Both are boys.

Acorah lives on her own (She had some problems with her teeth and I had to watch over her food intake very closely. She stopped eating at one bit andneeded syringe feeding. Getting her back on hay is a little problem as she will eat it from the bag but not in her cage) But now that she is well enough to live with others they're all paired up and bonded. Daz will bite any pig that isn't pepper. Baby girl pulls Acorahs fur out and she's terrified of her mother for some reason. So I'm looking at making 9 an even 10.

I mean Acorah still plays with the others. But she's more at home with the bunnies than the other piggies :( So she get's lonely when I'm not there. Poor Acorah :( I need to get her a friend.
 
Well my sister chose Taz, Tika, Baby girl and Kara. I chose Acorah and my mum chose Daz pig, Moo pig, Patch pig and Pepper pig :P

I tried looking there, in fact that's how I found here. But there was a pair being sold and a boy that was all I could find for this area and I really want a girl.
 
That's the thing. I don't actually live in Sheffield. I live in the countryside and don't know any rescues. My sister has told me about a Sheffield RSPCA so I'm going to try there. But I just don't know what's there.
 
There's Rotherham and Barnsley.

I rely heavily on public transport, but can get around.

yeah but it also said that there may be some animals in that aren't on the site, So I'll call in on Wednesday after my job interview.
 
well you looked amazed... its my Dad, he wont let me have any more pets (i have 2 chinchillas!)

I've stopped trying till probably a couple of months, i think i will ask very 2 months!
 
hehe in this house there are 9 piggies (I'm getting another one shortly)
4 rabbits
3 hamsters
1 gerbil
1 bird
2 dogs
 
lucky you, my Dad hates animals though whereas me and my mum ♥ them! my sister hates them as well
 
my dad soesn't like animals either, and yet when we're not looking he's there playing with the piggies

I prefer Angel, but you can call me whatever variation you like. I don't mind any of them :P Thanks for the welcome.
 
yeh I'm not saying all of that each time i refer to you Angel
