Hi i am new to all this i got my piggie yesturday and was just wondering what was best to use for there bedding. He lives indoors.

mine used to be bedded on wood chips, but have since switched to fleece cage liners.
I use puppy pads, then thick layer of newspaper and then the fleece on top and I'm so glad i did, money well spent!
They each have a litter tray lined with paper and then plenty of hay and straw as all mine are outdoors

I have indoor kept foster pigs. C&C set up. Paper base layer then two or three layers of fleece. One big litter/ hay tray too. One big hay rack in one corner and a cardboard tube stuffed with hay on the cage floor. Two water bottles and a double-ended food dish for pellets. Three piggy houses, a selection of tunnels and toys. Being a fussy person I do a complete cage clean every morning with fresh paper and fleeces, having picked up as many poops as I can at bedtime!

Hi there, l swere by green back vet bed, it is the hight of comfote for pigs and once you have bought it
it lasts for years,
when dirty, simply shake off the poos into a bin, and then throw the vet bed in the washing machine,
once washed it dries with in a few hours , indoors or out doors :tu:

I'm indecisive ! I use fleece cage liners - but not in the whole cage because of the amount of laundry they create.

I also use Fitch, Finacard and Aubiose ! I get my Aubiose from a local equine supplier - so I don't have to pay delivery charges .

This is a good thread ...
Bedding For Guinea Pigs - Overview

I do one layer of newspaper, then one layer of towels, and finally, fleece! This is the best, it looks nice and is comfortable for piggies.

I use newspaper then puppy pads on that then a towel then vetbed then fleece.:D
