So I finally had time to run to my storage unit to get some things. My main purpose was to get my summer clothes out. While I was there I grabbed my extra midwest cage. Once I got home I spent about 3 hours cleaning and rearranging and setting up the girls new home. I'm exhausted but seeing how happy they are with the extra space definitely makes all the hard work worth it. They now have 24 sq ft of floor space to run around in. :)):tu::clap::yahoo:

hello danielle i am a 2 guinea pig owner in south australia i know its not the uk but stay with me currently in the whole state there are only to guinea pigs at a shelter or adoption rescue they are called dale and chips they are both males and have been desexed my current 2 guinea pigs are female so I'm looking at getting dale and chips (not for breeding) but i came up with a c and c cage idea where there was a gate in the middle so i could put the girls on one side of the gate and the boys on the other then i would open up the gate for certain time periods to let them become friends then for the rest of the day this c and c cage would become the boys home until both the females and the males got used to each other and wont have as many fights then i would rebuild the c and c cage for another purpose and let all the guinea pigs live in the current hutch i have now is this a good idea

Hi, it's probably best to start your own thread as the right people may not see your questions here. As far as I know, you cannot have more than one male in with females - even castrated ones - as they will start fighting over the girls

:agr:. Honestly there are people better able to answer your question. I've never kept boars only sows so I really don't have any advice. I'm sorry but I'm sure someone on here can help you.

@guinea.awsome I am making a new thread for you :) with this question in.

You can't have two boys with girls even when desexed it will most likely result in fighting. One Husboar with girls is fine but not two.
